I joined Home Care Assist in 2020, bringing with me a strong background in quality assurance and compliance. Before this, I worked as an auditor within the care sector, travelling nationally to support a range of branches. In this role, I carried out detailed audits, identified areas for improvement, and developed clear, actionable plans to help strengthen service delivery and maintain consistently high standards across “Good” rated services.

One of my key achievements during this time was leading a service from a “Requires Improvement” rating, with multiple regulatory breaches, to achieving a full 5 Green standard across all Key Lines of Enquiry—demonstrating sustained compliance, strong leadership, and a real commitment to quality improvement.

Since joining Home Care Assist, I have progressed through several roles, including Compliance Manager and Branch Trainer. These positions allowed me to work closely with teams across the organisation, supporting development, embedding best practice, and helping to ensure that our carers deliver safe, effective, and person-centred care.

In 2023, I was proud to take on the role of Registered Area Manager, where I now oversee service quality and operational standards across the region. My focus is on maintaining excellence in care delivery, supporting staff development, and ensuring that every client receives the high standard of care they deserve.

What I enjoy most about my role is the opportunity to make a real difference—both in the lives of the people we support and in the development of our teams. I am passionate about continuous improvement, high-quality care, and creating services that people can trust and rely on every day.
