I have worked in domiciliary care since 2021. I have worked my way up and experienced different sides of the job. I was a care assistant for a year, a senior carer for 6 months and reached my goal of Care Coordinator in November 2022.
In March 2023 I moved over to Home Care Assist to continue my role as a Care Coordinator.

Working in care is a very hard but extremely rewarding job. I found myself creating many friendships with our service users and looked forward to spending quality time with them. I thrive off giving high quality care and giving our service users the person–centred care they deserve, whilst promoting independence and maintaining dignity and respect. When looking after service users in their homes, I like to treat them how I would if they were my own family.

I’m looking forward to seeing what the future holds for me at Home Care Assist. Watching the team of care workers and service users grow since my first day here has been incredible to be a part of.
